So… the artist known as Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em is back and apparently he has a new song for us. Now normally I wouldn’t go near this guy’s “music” with a 10-foot cord on my earphones but this song, “Pretty Boy Swag”, has been everywhere this summer! Every party, radio station (that I listen to), and music countdown…. It’s unavoidable. In the past, I’ve tried to ignore his new songs but that is really like sitting in a burning building and ignoring the flames. So this time around, I made the conscious decision to give the song an unbiased listen; I can’t lie – it has one of the hottest instrumentals I’ve heard in a while. And there are just too many remixes and funny parody videos floating around “the internets”…. Well, I decided to make my own! Not a video – I don’t rap and I’m not looking for fame. But, just for you, I will post the lyrics. Feel free to sing along with the music and let me know what you think in the comments sections.
